It's a simple but uniquely crafted mountain cabin with really nice touches like the live edge wood countertops, the old farmers sink and the bathroom fixtures that add a pop of color and vibrancy that still fit into the warmness of the cabin. The loft upstairs is so cute with the barn windows that open to below. It's so welcoming and cozy that you can quickly and easily relax into whether you want to sip coffee on the front porch and enjoy the peace and quiet or sink into the comfy couch and read a book. The beds were comfy and sometimes that's half the battle. It was a really low key and relaxing stay with our family and the house was exactly what we hoped for. We've never stayed in this location outside of Boone and I was nervous about it but it is actually well positioned to get around the entire area while staying out of the traffic in town.
